THE TASMAN GLACIER
Recent findings from the University of Canterbury show an increased rate of ice loss on the Tasman Glacier. On average it recedes 140m per year, but can be up to 300m. Follow Tim's 25Zero project to help raise awareness of climate change.
COP21 PARIS BROADCAST

HUNWICK'S LADDERS
Over the past 20 years ladders were installed on the steep flanks of Mount Stanley by the legendary John Hunwick and his team of Bakonzo mountain guides. Originally designed to link together the remnant glaciers on Mount Stanley these ladders now hang in space, the ice having retreated faster than the ladders could be installed.

CARSTENSZ PYRAMID 1936-2015
This animation shows the change in glacier cover on Carstensz Pyramid (Puncak Jaya) between 1936 when the mountain was first climbed by Heinrich Harrer and 2015 when the 25zero team climbed it during the UN's COP 21 climate talks in Paris.
